What: Pack Picnic and Spring Recruitment Event
When: Monday, May 22nd @ 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Sheridan Lutheran Church - Family Life Center
Pack 1 will be holding it's final event of the 2016-2017 school year on Monday May 22nd.
We will be having a brief awards ceremony for boys that have earned new achievements or didn't receive their awards at the last Pack Meeting.
We will have several activities for the boys to enjoy including stomp rockets, paper airplane slingshot, relay races and a craft to make. Activities will be held outside on the south lawn behind the church.
We will be serving food. The pack will be providing hot dogs, buns, condiments and bottled water. Food will be served in the Family Life Center. We are asking current pack families to sign up to bring a dish or side item to share.
Recruitment Info
This is also a spring recruitment event for all boys entering 1st through 5th grade in the fall of 2017.
One of our leaders will be meeting with prospective scout parents during the event to answer questions. We will also have handouts, informational flyers and applications if you want to sign up at the event so your son can attend Cub Scout Day Camp this summer.
If you are interested in joining our Pack, but can't make it to this event, please contact us through the contact form on the website and we will keep you informed about our Fall recruitment event or if you wish to join before the fall we will contact you about that sooner.
The event will start in the Family Life Center (gym) of the church. You can enter through Door 1 or Door 2.
