Saturday, February 3 from 9:30am - 1:30pm
Pack 1 will be holding its annual Pinewood Derby race on Saturday February 3rd at Sheridan Lutheran Church.
Car check-in begins at 9:30am and will continue until 11:00am. No cars will be accepted for entry into the race after 11:00am.
Races will begin at approximately 11:15am and will proceed by rank beginning with the Lions, then Tigers, Wolves, etc. and ending with the Webelos II den followed by the sibling and adult divisions.
The fastest two cars in each division will receive a medal. Final times will be an average of the 6 individual heat times.
Parent volunteers are needed to assist with various parts of running the pinewood derby. This includes car check-in, inspectors, activity stations, and concessions. We will also need help with setup before the race and cleanup after the race.
Car design requirements are the same as last year and can be found on the Resources page of the pack website.
