Pack 1 will be hosting a fall family camping event at the Cornhusker Council Outdoor Education Center October 7-9, 2022.
Where:
600 S 120th St
Walton, Nebraska 68461
When:
Arrive after 6pm on Friday (dinner on your own before coming out) and leave by 10am on Sunday.
Families can choose to stay 1 or 2 nights or just come out for the day on Saturday.
Activities:
- We have reserved the BB gun and archery ranges on Saturday morning from 10am-12pm.
- We have reserved the Climbing Wall inside the OEC from 1:30pm-4:30pm on Saturday
Cost:
The Pack will provide food for all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Families will need to provide their own dinner on Friday night.
Other Details:
Parents are encouraged to attend with their scouts and families are welcome to come and join the scouts for this fun event. The Pack has 10 5-person tents that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. (These should be able to sleep 1 adult and 2 kids with gear at most). If you have your own tent, please use that so the Pack tents can be utilized for those families without their own tent.
Gravel lot and low water bridge completely off limits Saturday. Must park in the upper lot and please plan on carpooling if able.
Important: A parent or guardian must attend with all Tiger and Lion Scouts.
