Pack 1 will be hosting a spring family camping event at the Cornhusker Council Outdoor Education Center April 26-28th 2018.
Sign up deadline is Monday April 22nd.
Where:
600 S 120th St
Walton, Nebraska 68461
When:
Arrive between 4-7pm on Friday and leave by 10am on Sunday.
Families can choose to stay 1 or 2 nights or just come out for the day on Saturday.
Activities:
- We have reserved the BB gun range on Saturday afternoon
- We have reserved the Climbing Wall inside the OEC from 10am -1pm on Saturday.
Other Activities include:
- Campfire Program on Friday and Saturday night
- Scavenger Hunt
- Nature Hikes
- Scout Skills
- Games and Sports on fields
Cost:
The Pack will provide food for all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Families will need to provide their own dinner on Friday night.
Other Details:
Parents are encouraged to attend with their scouts and families are welcome to come and join the scouts for this fun event. The Pack recently purchased 10 5-person tents that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. (These should be able to sleep 1 adult and 2 kids with gear at most). If you have your own tent, please use that so the Pack tents can be utilized for those families without their own tent.
Important: A parent or guardian must attend with all Tiger and Lion Scouts.
